As debate rages in the mainstream media over bailouts, executive pay, and the economy, people are once again turning to the ideas of socialism to understand the roots of the crisis and what can be done. Anyone interested in fighting for a real alternative to the greed, corruption and poverty of capitalism should be at this public forum. Veteran socialist Kirstin Roberts will take on the right-wing slander against socialism and point the way toward a struggle for genuine liberation and socialism.
Stay afterward for a party, drinks and music with other activists and socialists from around Chicago!
